About me
My aim is to interpret the landscape in a way that the viewer can experience the feelings and emotions that I do. For me, that’s best expressed in a non-representational, abstract form; not knowing what will emerge from any painting session is what I find so exciting and that’s my hope for the viewer too.
My interest in the landscape began years ago as a student of Archaeology and Geology and that passion has stayed with me over the years. My initial artworks were very representational but over time I have found a gradual pull towards more impressionistic and abstract forms. If you enjoy art that’s a bit raw and wild then you are in the right place!
